The Advisory Group on Testing for the Presence of Hepatitis B Surface Antigen and its Antibody produced its third report. The report recommended the establishment of a committee of experts to assess the value of any new tests for hepatitis markers which could be used in testing blood donations and preparations of large pool blood products.
