C Lugton sent a memo to A J Murray and Dr McIntyre, attaching advice from the Department of Social Security regarding calls to compensate people with haemophiliacs infected with HIV by blood products, stating that Scottish Home and Health Department could not advise the Minister of State in Scotland to take a different line from Lady Trumpington, who had already rejected such calls.
