Dr Evans said, treatment of cryoprecipitate was given to young patients with haemophilia rather than Factor VIII concentrates. The incidence of hepatitis was lower when using North Western Cryoprecipitate than imported concentrates. Concentrates were kept for home treatment versus cryoprecipitate for hospital treatment.
