An internal DHSS meeting was held to discuss the implications of recent media reports on AIDS and to consider possible courses of action. It was agreed to seek the CBLA's comment on greater use of single donor or small pool products and the introduction on heat-treated concentrate; and that a recommendation would be made for an early meeting between ministers and the Haemophilia Society.
