Lord Glenarthur wrote a letter to Nicholas Baker MP which provided information about the monitoring of AIDS cases by the Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre. The letter ended by saying "Finally, I would like to stress that there is as yet no proof that AIDS is transmitted by blood or blood products".
