The National Blood Transfusion Service Advisory Committee Working Group on AIDS discussed arrangements for the collection and testing of blood donations. A paper circulated for the meeting suggested organising more intensive interviewing of donors, particularly in areas with a known increased population of homosexuals and drug abusers.
