National Provision of Donors Committee was established. Its remit was "To consider and advise the National Director on measures to ensure that sufficient donors are recruited and retained to reach and maintain the targets for blood and plasma collection in the most economical manner" and to "advise on the effective disposition of the central publicity budget."
