Some sections of the framework document on management of possible exposure to CJD through medical procedures included establishing a confidential database without consent, estimates of the infectivity of blood components and plasma derivatives, and advice on the investigation and management of incidents involving blood, were "greyed out" as they had not yet been finalised.
