Head of Northern Ireland Immunology Service
David Edgar has led the Northern Ireland Regional Immunology Service since 1996. Originally appointed to lead the regional laboratory service, David led the development of the laboratory and clinical services. He has developed high quality secondary and tertiary clinical services for adults and children in allergy and immunology, establishing a multidisciplinary team for their delivery, including consultant immunologists along with a team of specialist immunology and allergy nurses
