Letter from Prof. Bloom to David Watters in response to Davids letter. Discusses meeting held with patients and families and the general situation regarding AIDS for funding to purchase commercial heat treated factor VIII, which has not been through a clinical trial. Prof. Bloom has fears of further spread of infection amongst haemophiliacs and suggests limiting usage of Factor VIII.
