Document on the Briefing for the Prime Minister on Hepatitis C. A Haemophilia Society Report published on 4th December claims some 3,100 haemophiliacs have been infected with Hepatitis C as a result of contaminated blood transfusions/blood products. Further, RHF SofS for Health has reiterated the policy of his predecessors, and he does not believe no-fault compensation is sensible use of NHS resources.
