Minutes of the Second Meeting of the UK Haemophilia Centre Directors Organisation Executive Committee. The minutes discuss Hepatitis C litigation and the difficulties that practitioners face in continuing to treat patients whilst the litigation is increasing. The minutes discuss policy making regarding the permanent exclusion of family members and sexual partners of haemophiliacs from donating blood and the collection of data from haemophilia centres regarding hepatitis infections. The minutes also discuss the fact that there were a number of patients on the national register who had been treated during the relevant time period but have not been tested for HIV.
