Minutes of meeting held 28 May 2002 with Robert Finch of the Department of Health DoH in attendance. The following matters were discussed: prescription charges; an update on the complaint made against Manchester Royal Infirmary; reports from the Haemophilia Congress in Seville including a note that Dr Winter got the impression the medical community were no longer interested in HIV and a discussion of the number of haemophiliacs undiagnosedwithout regular care; financial reports observed only 25% of were grants approved; trustee appointments update query on gender balance of trustees made by previous minister Yvette Cooper; updates on DoH funding fertility treatment the Partnership group and the Bereavement Project; applications and cases secured loan 1512 for 4500 approved and flexible secured loan 1226W refused.
