Inquiry publishes List of Issues

Questions guiding the Inquiry’s investigations published

The Infected Blood Inquiry has today published its List of Issues. This document will help guide the Inquiry’s investigative work to meet its terms of reference.

The List of Issues seeks to establish  not only what was done, but also what should have been done. It will guide the investigation into  the roles of all the decision-makers, including government, the NHS and pharmaceutical companies.

The Inquiry Team is searching millions of pages of documents from the NHS and Department of Health, other departments from the UK’s four national governments, hospital trusts across the UK, the various trusts and funds, charities, police forces and individuals.  Additionally, almost 2,500 people so far have come forward to give statements.

Counsel to the Inquiry, Jenni Richards QC, is responsible for the list and  welcomes suggestions from core participants and others. This will assist the List of Issues to be a living document as the investigation evolves.
