Notes of Decisions and Actions from the Third Meeting of Hepatitis C Look Back Working Party held on 14th March 1995 Matters discussed are as follows PHLS to account for expenditure to DH and negotiate with DH if excess costs were incurred Also NBA and PHLS were in discussion about payment for tests conducted as part of the LookBack Programme There is discussion on the variation of natural history for Hepatitis C viral infection Guidance on Look Back Procedures paper has been approved Further Members discussed facilitation of the Look Back exercise and the cooperation of hospital trust Some departments for haematology in Wales have warned of possible difficulties with staff cooperation and extra funding and equipment issues Plus the British Liver Trust expressed concerns that trusts may not wish to cooperate There is also discussion on Guidance on Counselling and treatment options
