Sir Robert Francis has published the notes of the six meetings he held in 2021 with groups of people infected and affected, and one meeting with legal representatives.
The summaries cover meetings with people who have been bereaved, infected with hepatitis C, infected with HIV, multiple or co-infected, other people who have been affected, recognised legal representatives, and a final meeting for people who had been unable to attend one of the other meetings.
Sir Robert will be reporting to the Paymaster General no later than Monday 14 March 2022. This study is separate from the Infected Blood Inquiry, and Sir Robert will be called to give evidence to the Inquiry on the compensation framework study this year.
