At a Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service Co-Ordinating Group Meeting, it was decided that each Scottish regional transfusion centre would incorporate into their health questionnaire the words: "I have read the SNBTS AIDS leaflet (Important Message to Blood Donors) and confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, I am not in one of the defined transfusion-related risk groups".
