Lord Hunt asked about the scope for "doing more" for people with haemophilia infected with Hepatitis C and requested an outline costing of a hardship fund. The advice provided said that such a fund would be unlikely to be acceptable and that there would be a continuing demand for parity with the HIV scheme.
